Sharon Wauchob brings an unpredictable, unconventional edge to the world of contemporary luxury. She develops a constantly evolving vision of femininity – an attribute which consistently draws a loyal and growing following. Her forte is in her unique experimental use of materials and fabrics. Her pieces often incorporate folds, drapes, pleats and exquisite detailing - elegant and sophisticated clothes for every woman.
Graduating with first class honours from Central Saint Martins’ School in 1993, her innovative looks and masterful execution quickly set her apart. As in-house designer at Louis Vuitton between 1997 and 2001, her skills of inventiveness and experimentation were cultivated. Working in both ready-to-wear and accessories proved to be a fundamental experience. She went on to launch her eponymous line in 1999 in Paris and has since succeeded in becoming a highly acclaimed prêt-à-porter label.
She has been showing on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar since 2003 and is one of few British or Irish designers to have achieved such an accolade. When working on ready to wear or accessories, luxury or mass market mens or womens her goal is to lead the trends in a response to modern needs and international lifestyle.
